Minor and Major Car Service jobs we do
Minor service
A minor service is the engine oil and filter change with basic checks of the fluids, tyres, brakes and lights. It is due at each oil change interval between the bigger services.
Major service
A major service adds the items due at the longer intervals of the manufacturer schedule, which depending on the car can include the air, cabin and fuel filters, spark plugs, brake fluid and coolant. It comes round less often than a minor service, and the service book or the dashboard shows when it is due.
Under-body inspection and repair
With the car up on the lift we look for oil and coolant leaks, worn bushes, split CV boots and loose exhaust mounts. It is worth doing at every service, since leaks and worn rubber parts cost less to fix when they are caught early.
Belts, hoses, wipers and other wear parts
Drive belts, coolant hoses, engine mounts and wiper blades all age faster in Dubai heat. We replace them when the service check finds cracks, leaks or play, and each one goes on the WhatsApp quote for you to approve first.
Minor and Major Car Service questions
What is the difference between a minor and a major service?
A minor service is the engine oil and filter change with the basic checks. A major service follows the manufacturer schedule for the longer intervals, with more filters, fluids and checks. Tell us the mileage and we will tell you which one is due.
How often does my car need a major service?
Follow the manufacturer schedule in the service book or on the dashboard, which is set by mileage or time, whichever comes first. Intervals differ a lot between makes, and many German cars work out the next service from how the car has been driven. Send us the mileage and the last service record on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is due.
How much does a major service cost?
Our major service package has fixed prices with all genuine or OEM parts included, priced by car make and engine size. You can see all current package prices on our packages page, or send us your model and mileage on WhatsApp for an exact quote.
Do you use genuine parts for a service?
You choose between genuine and OEM parts. Genuine parts come in the carmaker's box, while OEM parts are made by the companies that supply the carmaker and usually cost less. The WhatsApp quote shows the option you pick before we start.
How long does a car service take?
A minor service is usually finished the same day. For a major service the time depends on the car and on anything the inspection turns up, and we give it to you with the WhatsApp quote.
Can I wait at the garage during the service?
Yes. Our workshop features an air-conditioned customer lounge with comfortable seating and a snooker table. For minor services and inspections, you are welcome to play snooker, work, or relax while we service your car.
Do you collect the car?
Yes, free, anywhere in Dubai during working hours. We collect the car from your home or office, from Dubai Marina and JLT to Downtown, Business Bay, Mirdif and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
