We service and repair Porsches at our Al Quoz workshop, with free pickup anywhere in Dubai during working hours. On the 911, Boxster and Cayman the radiators and AC condensers sit in the front corners behind the bumper, where sand and dust pack the fins and cut cooling on hot afternoons. Slow traffic is hard on the PDK gearbox too, because its clutches heat up when the car creeps in first gear for long spells.
Our Porsche major service package includes all factory-spec fluids, filters and checks. Common repairs are coolant leaks, PDK faults, air suspension on the Cayenne and Panamera, and tyres that wear unevenly when the alignment drifts. We read faults with dealer-level Porsche diagnostic tools, send the quote on WhatsApp, and you choose genuine or OEM parts before we start.
Porsche models we see most
-
911 (991 and 992)
The engines in these cars have a good record, so most of what they need is servicing on time and, on PDK cars, fresh gearbox fluid at the interval Porsche sets.
-
911 (996 and 997)
On most cars built up to about 2008 (not the Turbo or GT3), the IMS bearing is the known weak point, and many owners fit an upgraded bearing when the clutch is replaced because the gearbox is already out.
-
Cayenne
Early V8 Cayennes (2003 to 2010) have plastic coolant pipes in the valley of the engine that crack with age, and many have been changed to aluminium pipes; air suspension, where fitted, is the other common repair.
-
Macan
The four-cylinder Macan shares its 2.0 turbo with Audi and Volkswagen, and that engine's plastic water pump and thermostat housing are a known source of coolant leaks.
-
Panamera
Panameras with air suspension, standard on the Turbo, often need new air springs as the rubber ages, and the car's weight means pads and discs need replacing more often than on a 911.
-
Boxster and Cayman
Cars built up to about 2008 carry the same IMS bearing risk as the older 911, while later cars, including the turbocharged 718, mostly need servicing on time and clean front radiators.
Common Porsche faults in Dubai
-
Coolant leaks
A low coolant warning, a sweet smell after parking, or drops of coolant under the car. On V8 Cayennes and some V8 Panameras the coolant pipes in the engine valley are a known leak point, and on most models the plastic expansion tank and the water pump age quickly in the heat.
-
PDK warning or jerky pull-away
The car pulls away with a jerk, clunks when parking, or shows a transmission warning on the dash. Old PDK fluid and clutches that need re-adapting with the diagnostic tool are common causes, and the PDK fluid change has a fixed interval that is easy to miss.
-
Air suspension sagging
One corner sits low after the car is parked, or a suspension warning comes on. The rubber in the air springs cracks with heat and age, and a slow leak keeps the compressor running until it wears out too.
-
Running hot and weak AC in summer
The temperature rises in slow traffic and the AC gets weaker on hot afternoons. On the 911, Boxster and Cayman the radiators and AC condensers sit in the front bumper corners, where sand and dust pack the fins and block the airflow.
-
Tyres wearing on the inside edge
The rear tyres wear on the inside edge long before the centre, or the car pulls to one side on Sheikh Zayed Road. Porsche sets the wheels up with a lot of camber, so a small change in alignment after a kerb or a deep pothole shows up quickly as uneven wear.
Porsche questions
How much is a Porsche major service?
Our Porsche major service package includes original filters, fluids, spark plugs and full safety checks. Check the current package price in our offers section below, or message us on WhatsApp to confirm what is due.
Can you diagnose Porsche faults like the dealer?
Yes. We use dealer-level diagnostic tools for Porsche, which read the PDK, suspension and electrical systems as well as the engine. When you book on WhatsApp, send us a photo of any warning on the dash.
When does a PDK gearbox need new fluid?
Porsche sets the interval by time and mileage, and it differs by model and year. Send us the model, year and mileage on WhatsApp and we will check whether it is due. Old fluid is a common cause of jerky pull-away in traffic.
Do you use genuine Porsche parts?
Genuine Porsche parts and OEM parts are both available, and you choose. Tell us which you prefer and we price the WhatsApp quote that way. We start work only after you approve it.
