Headlight and Taillight Repair jobs we do
Bulbs and LED units
We replace halogen and xenon bulbs, and the LED modules or complete units on cars where the LEDs cannot be changed on their own. Xenon lights that flicker or turn pink near the end of their life usually need a new bulb or ballast.
Headlight beam alignment
We set the headlight aim to the height and angle your car is built for, so you see the road without dazzling drivers coming the other way. Do it after fitting a new headlight, after suspension work or when other drivers flash you at night.
Cloudy lens restoration
Dubai sun turns plastic headlight lenses yellow and hazy, which cuts the light reaching the road. We restore and reseal the outer surface of the lens, and when the haze is inside the unit, replacing the headlight is the only fix.
Taillights, indicators and coding
When a new bulb does not fix a taillight, brake light or indicator, the cause is usually a corroded bulb holder, a broken wire in the boot lid or a failed LED board. On many BMW and Mercedes-Benz models a new light unit also has to be coded to the car, or it shows a fault and may not work properly.
Headlight and Taillight Repair questions
Why is my indicator flashing fast?
A fast flash usually means a bulb on that side has failed, because the car senses the lower current and flashes quicker to warn you. On cars with LED indicators it can also mean a failed LED board or a wiring fault. Check the front, rear and mirror indicators on that side, and if they all work, we trace the fault.
How much does headlight replacement cost in Dubai?
It depends on the car and the type of light, since a halogen bulb costs a fraction of a full LED headlight unit on a BMW or Mercedes-Benz. Coding the new unit adds labour on cars that need it, and you choose genuine or OEM parts. Send us the make, model and year on WhatsApp for a quote.
Can cloudy headlights be restored?
If the haze is on the outside of the lens, restoring it usually brings back a clear beam. If the inside is cloudy, the reflector has burnt or water has got in, the headlight needs replacing. We look at it first and tell you on WhatsApp which your car needs.
Why is there water inside my headlight?
A little mist that clears once the lights have been on for a while is normal on many cars, because the units breathe through small vents. Standing water, or mist that never clears, means a broken seal, a cracked lens or a blocked vent, and the water will damage the bulbs and electronics if it stays.
Do new headlights need coding?
On many BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, yes, especially LED and adaptive headlights with their own control modules. Without coding the car may show a light fault, the beams may not level or turn with the steering, or the light may not work at all. We code the unit with dealer-level tools as part of the fitting.
Do you collect the car?
Yes, free, anywhere in Dubai during working hours. We collect the car from your home or office, from Dubai Marina and JLT to Downtown, Business Bay, Mirdif and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
