Battery test
We load-test the battery and read its state of health, because a battery can show the right voltage and still fail when the starter draws on it. The result tells you whether it needs replacing now or can wait a while.
Battery replacement
We fit a battery of the right size, type and capacity for your car, and cars with start-stop usually need an AGM or EFB battery, which costs more than a standard one. You choose a genuine or OEM battery, and the quote lists the battery and the labour separately.
Battery registration and coding
Many BMW and Mercedes-Benz models need the new battery registered to the car, and coded as well if the type or capacity changes. Without registration the car keeps charging as if the old, worn battery were still fitted, which shortens the life of the new one.
Charging system check
We check the alternator output with the engine running and look for anything draining the battery with the car switched off, since either fault will wear out a new battery early. If we find one, it goes on the WhatsApp quote for you to approve before we fix it.

How much does car battery replacement cost in Dubai?
It depends on the battery size and type your car takes, and AGM batteries for start-stop cars cost more than standard ones. Registering the battery to the car adds labour on models that need it. Send us the make, model and year on WhatsApp and we will quote the battery and the fitting separately.
How do I know if my car battery needs replacing?
Slow cranking, a click with no start, a battery warning light or start-stop that has stopped working are the usual signs. Heat wears batteries out faster in Dubai, often within two or three years, so have yours tested once it reaches that age, ideally before summer.
Why are warning lights on after a battery change?
Cutting the power makes some modules log low-voltage faults and forget learned settings, so a few lights can come on after a new battery goes in. Many clear after a short drive, and on some cars the windows, the steering angle sensor or start-stop need resetting with a diagnostic tool. If a light stays on, we scan the car and find out why.
Does my car need an AGM battery?
If it has start-stop, it almost certainly left the factory with an AGM or EFB battery and needs the same type again. A standard battery will fit in the space but wears out quickly with start-stop use, and on many German cars the battery type is coded to the car. We check what was fitted at the factory before we quote.
Can I replace the battery myself on a BMW or Mercedes-Benz?
You can fit it, but many models then need the new battery registered with a diagnostic tool, or the charging system will not adjust to it. We register it with our dealer-level tools as part of the fitting.
