The combined water pump and thermostat housing on TSI engines develops cracks around the seal, losing coolant under pressure. We replace the unit with the updated revision and bleed the cooling system.

DSG transmission hesitation or jerky take-off
The direct-shift gearbox feels hesitant when pulling away from standstill or clunks into second gear. Fresh DSG fluid and running a clutch adaptation reset on our diagnostic system usually resolves it.

AC blowing warm when idling at traffic lights
The refrigerant control valve inside the AC compressor tends to stick in summer heat, preventing cooling until the engine revs up. Replacing the control valve often saves having to buy a whole new compressor.
